TVFU PHOTO DIARY

 I had a fabulous time at TVFU this year. The speakers and seminars were even better than last year, something I didn't think was possible. Hearing Anna Wintour give the opening remarks was incredible. She spoke about her life and her upbringing and how she made it to where she is today. For someone who is referred to as the "ice queen" or the "devil," she could not have been more humble and appreciative for all of the things she has, not to mention she was really funny! There are no words to describe it. Thanks Teen Vogue for another fabulous weekend!

Olivia Palermo ♥'s NYC

Hey guys, I know I've been MIA as of late, but I have so much going on right now that sadly, I haven't had a spare minute to blog. Lots of exciting things are coming up though and I'm looking forward to sharing it all with you, so stay tuned!

TVFU 2010

Back in August I applied for Teen Vogue Fashion University 2010. Being that I had attended the weekend-long event in NYC last year, I wasn't sure what my chances were of being selected a second time. One part of me wanted to let other people have a chance to experience this amazing opportunity, but a bigger part of me (ok, so like 99%) wanted to attend the event this year. Regardless of what I thought or felt, today Teen Vogue made the decision for me. I will be attending TVFU 2010 in NYC and I couldn't be more excited about it!!!

The event is October 22-24 and seminars range from designers Zac Posen and Prabal Gurung to bloggers Jane, Hanneli and Tavi to exclusive tours of the Teen Vogue editorial floor and much more.

The most exciting part was finding out this morning that Anna Wintour would be speaking at the event AKA I will be in the same room as her, listening to her speak and maybe even making eye contact. This in itself is something I never thought I would ever be able to do. So, in anticipation of this year's event, I thought I would share a few pictures of my time in at TVFU in NYC last year.

I will also be visiting NYC in January with some of the students in my program. We will be visiting showrooms, FIT and lots of other places I wouldn't get the chance to visit on my own. This is another amazing opportunity that I have been able to take advantage of and I couldn't be more excited!!

Fashion's Night Out

Is anyone else as excited as I am? I regret so much that I can't be in NYC for FNO but am happy to at least take part in some of the fun. Last year I had the opportunity to visit NYC twice and I made sure to pick up one of the FNO t-shirts. I wore it so much that it was definitely time for a new one. I'll do an outfit post hopefully later today, but now I'm just heading to class. Hope everyone has a great weekend and if you're in NYC tonight or for any of the upcoming shows, know that I am tres jealous!
